Kink vs Swinger Parties: What’s the Difference?

Some sex clubs like to host different events that cater to different kinksters and their desires. When comparing a Kink vs Swinger party, there are often more similarities than there are differences. The biggest difference comes down one question: what are your intentions?

What is a Kink Party?

A Kink Party is a (sometimes public) space where kinksters can get together and explore kinks. Kink parties can be held at a friends house or perhaps at a local sex club in your area. Typically, the appeal of a Kink Party stems from the interest in exploring kinks with other people either watching, or nearby. At a Kink Party you’ll typically see a wide variety of kinks being performed (impact, fire, needle, etc.) as well as a variety of spaces that offer a bit more privacy. Folks are encouraged to, but not required to mingle with other kinksters.

What is a Swingers Party?

A Swingers Party also attracts folks that are interested in group/public play, but these parties tend to be less focused on the “kink” element. Typically at Swingers Parties, guests are very intentional about mixing and mingling. Most of the guests come with the intentions of finding other folks to play with and the shared goal often leads to success. While the play can be kinky, the experience is less about the performance and is focused on a more intimate experience.

Can Single People go to Sex Parties?

Of course! Whether you’re single, married or somewhere in between- every consenting adult is welcome at a Sex Party. Your experience and/or chances at playing may vary based on what kind of sex party you attend, but you are always welcome all the same!

Good Sex Party Etiquette

More so than at any other party, it is important you are of sound mind at a sex party. While a drink or two might be harmless for some folks, only you know your real limits. Don’t get drunk at a sex party. Always ask for consent before watching or physically engaging with other kinksters. Always discuss boundaries, STI status, and safe words before playing with new partners.

  1. I am a new member of the Eugene kink community and I was wondering if you are continuing your monthly parties at the ranch? As a suggestion, you might want to add a calendar to your upcoming events. Page so that people like myself can look at events further out in the future.

    • Sorry for the late response. I’m still trying to work out logistics and such. The web page has upcoming events and more information. We always take January off for maintenance and such.
